What does an online JEE tutor help with?
A JEE tutor works through the chapters that cost you the most marks and teaches faster, more reliable methods for them. In maths that is often calculus, coordinate geometry, vectors and probability. In physics it is mechanics and electromagnetism problems, and in chemistry it is physical chemistry calculations and organic reaction steps. Sessions are built around timed questions from previous years' papers.
What is the JEE Main 2027 exam pattern?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) runs JEE Main. Paper 1, for B.E. and B.Tech, is a computer-based test of 3 hours with 75 questions: 25 each in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Each subject has 20 multiple-choice questions in Section A and 5 numerical-answer questions in Section B, for 100 marks per subject and 300 marks in total.
How is JEE Main marked?
Under the JEE Main 2027 information bulletin, a correct answer earns 4 marks, an incorrect answer loses 1 mark, and an unanswered question scores 0, in both sections. Because numerical-answer questions also carry a negative mark, tutors practise deciding when to attempt and when to leave a question, as well as getting the method right.
When are the JEE Main 2027 sessions?
JEE Main 2027 is held in two sessions. Session 1 exams are on 20 to 24 and 28 January 2027, and Session 2 exams on 2 to 7 April 2027. If you appear in both sessions, only your best total NTA score is used for the merit list, so many students use Session 1 to find weak chapters and work on them before April.
How do JEE Main and JEE Advanced connect?
JEE Main is used for admission to many engineering institutes and is also the eligibility test for JEE Advanced, which is used for admission to the IITs. JEE Advanced questions go deeper and combine ideas from several chapters, so tutors move from JEE Main-style problems to multi-step problems once your core methods are secure.
Who can take JEE Main 2027?
The JEE Main 2027 bulletin sets no age limit. Candidates who passed Class 12 in 2025 or 2026, or who are appearing in Class 12 in 2027, are eligible, while those who passed in 2024 or earlier are not. Worked example: roots in a given ratio (JEE Main maths)
The roots of x² − 6x + k = 0 are in the ratio 1 : 2. Find k. Let the roots be a and 2a. Their sum is 3a = 6, so a = 2 and the roots are 2 and 4. Their product is k = 2 × 4 = 8. As a Section B question this has no options to check against, and a wrong answer loses a mark, so tutors check the answer by substituting back: 4 − 12 + 8 = 0 and 16 − 24 + 8 = 0.

How does online JEE tutoring work?
You book a live one-to-one video session with a subject specialist. Sessions are 60 minutes on Zoom or Google Meet. Beforehand you share the chapter, the questions you got wrong or your latest mock test, so the tutor can plan the session around your weakest areas and the JEE pattern.
What is the JEE Main 2027 exam pattern?
Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) is a 3-hour computer-based test of 75 questions worth 300 marks. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry each have 20 multiple-choice questions in Section A and 5 numerical-answer questions in Section B, worth 100 marks per subject, according to the NTA's 2027 bulletin.
Is there negative marking in JEE Main 2027?
Yes. The 2027 bulletin gives 4 marks for a correct answer, minus 1 for an incorrect answer and 0 for an unanswered question, and this applies to both the multiple-choice and the numerical-answer sections. Tutors practise accuracy and question selection as well as speed for this reason.
When is JEE Main 2027?
Session 1 exams are on 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 January 2027, and Session 2 exams on 2 to 7 April 2027, according to the NTA bulletin. Your exact date and shift appear on your admit card. Plan your revision back from your Session 1 date.
Should I take both JEE Main sessions?
Many students do, because only your best total NTA score across the sessions is used for the merit list. Session 1 also shows which chapters cost you marks, which gives you a clear list to work on with a tutor before Session 2 in April.
Do you offer JEE Advanced tutoring?
Yes. Once your JEE Main methods are secure, tutors move on to JEE Advanced-style problems, which are longer, combine several chapters and need more careful reasoning. JEE Main is the eligibility test for JEE Advanced, so most students prepare for Main first and Advanced alongside it.
Can I prepare for JEE and my Class 12 boards together?

Can a drop-year student take JEE tutoring?
